Wine is an alcoholic beverage, made of fermented fruit juice, wine is produced by using various types of yeast. Yeast consumes the sugars in the juice and converts them into alcohol as shown in the following reaction:

Date Fruit
Phoenix dactylifera, commonly known as Date or Date Palm, is a flowering plant species in the palm family, Arecaceae, cultivated for its edible sweet fruit. Although its place of origin is unknown
because of long cultivation, it probably originated from lands around Iraq. The species is widely cultivated and is naturalized in many tropical and subtropical regions worldwide.
Date trees typically reach about 70–75 feet (21–23 m) in height, growing singly or forming a clump with several stems from a single root system. The leaves are 4–6 metres (13–20 ft) long, with spines on the petiole, and pinnate, with about 150 leaflets. The leaflets are 30 cm (12 in) long and 2 cm (0.79 in) wide. The full span of the crown ranges from 6–10 m (20–33 ft).

Date fruit has lots of good qualities listed above along with that it has very high sugar content. Our country has more than 62 million Indians suffering from diabetes this, there was a need for making benefit of Date fruit useful to our people.
There is very less awareness about this fruit in spite of having so much of good qualities. This fruit is regarded as GOD FRUIT.
Unfortunately this GOD FRUIT has a very small life span, once it rains this fruit cant stay for a long time and our farmers who are in the cultivation of dates faced huge loss.
Thus to add value to this GOD FRUIT and provide support to our farmers after continuous research world’s first date wine was developed.
